TOMSK, Dec 12 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk businessmen plan to open production on processing of PET-waste in paving slabs in the territory of a waste sorting complex in Seversk (satellite town of Tomsk) in 2018, the head of the regional department of natural resources Sergey Trapeznikov told journalists on Tuesday.

Earlier it was reported that the first licensed line of garbage sorting with a power more than 40 thousand tons of waste a year was opened in January 2017 in the city of Seversk of the Tomsk region. The investor brought in its creation more than 19 million rubles. Valuable fractions are paper, plastic, glass, aluminum jar – after sorting go to waste recycling plants of the Russian Federation today.

"It is possible to sort as much as necessary, the main thing is where to use it. Now the whole country works for sorting, and there not so many refinery capacities. We bring, for example, to Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, but we need to develop something special. We  really want to begin processing of plastic waste in paving slabs next year here (in Seversk)", – Trapeznikov told.

According to him, the territory of the Seversk waste sorting complex will allow to open small processing industry at the beggining and to produce 200-300 qualitative curbstones in change. Further this "compact" experience can be duplicated to districts of the region. "Offers and how many it will cost are now studied. Business wants, and the power intends to help, including to remove administrative barriers", – he added.

As the director of the Seversk waste sorting complex Dmitry Mitasov told journalists, the complex accepted and processed about 26 thousand tons of waste in 2017 from which 6-7% on weight is economically advantageous fractions. A favourite is plastic bottle about 100 tons of which is sent monthly.

Also he reported that today there is a retrofitting at the enterprise which allows to work also with economically unclaimed garbage." We had a press compactor of the German production. It allows to increase the mass of a container which is taken out on the ground, from 5 tons to 20 tons. It affects work of the ground positively, waste arrives in the pressed state", – he said.
