TOMSK, Jan 10 – RIA Tomsk.
Volume of retail commodity turnover in Tomsk in 2017, according to preliminary
data, remained at the level of previous year; local and federal retail networks
opened more than 50 shopping facilities in the region; grocery supermarkets,
car center, market and furniture hypermarket are among them, it is told in the
materials of regional department of the consumer market.
No money – no growth
According to the regional
department of the consumer market, the volume of retail commodity turnover for
incomplete 2017 (11 months) remained at the level of last year in the region
and is 131,5 billion rubles. According to experts, growth of retail is
contained by deficiency of solvent demand.
"Growth of the real
located monetary income per capita across the Tomsk region was recorded only in
January of the current (2017th) year – plus 7,7% by January, 2016. Further,
since February, falling is fixed. Following the results of 10 months of 2017
its depth reached 6,2% in relation to the corresponding period of the last
year", – it is specified in materials of the department.
At the same time it is noted
that the volume of realization of foodstuff in the region grew by 5,8% to the
level of 2016. Negative dynamics – decrease by 5,5% is characteristic of nonfood goods.
"Edible" discoveries
Meanwhile infrastructure of
retail for 2017 was added by 55 shopping facilities of local and federal
networks. So, the Kemerovo network "Yarche" opened most of all
outlets in the territory of the Tomsk region – 26 shops, the Krasnodar
"Magnet" is on the second place – 14 objects, the Altai
network "Maria-RA", opened nine more shops in the Tomsk region,
got the third place.

In addition the Tomsk
"Territory of taiga" and the Novosibirsk "Holliday" Group
opened three and two shops respectively. Tomsk "Abrikos" has one more
shop. Also two Tomsk producers decided on creation of own company points of
trade – "Derevenskoye molochko" (in Seversk) and SAVA (Oktyabrskiy
market in Tomsk) opened one shop each.
Also more large-scale food
shopping facility appeared in the left year in Tomsk – the Nakhimovskiy market
opened in the fall in Kirovskiy district on 350 trade places. As it is
explained in thhe regional department of the consumer market, the main idea of
its creation is to unite modern technologies of trade and exhibition and market
traditions.
"The concept of the
market was developed, being guided by experience of the large cities, including
Moscow, Kazan and St. Petersburg. <…> The market has all attributes of a
modern supermarket: carts for buyers, payment with a card, control
scales", – experts note.
Sport, auto and repair
The nonfood sphere was also
replenished with several large shopping facilities. So, the local network
"Stroypark" opened the third household and repair goods hypermaket.
The furniture "giant" – "Mebel Park Giper" appeared in the
same room.
"The second turn of
shopping center "SMILEcity" with a total area of 40 thousand square
meters is put into operation. Increase in the area will allow to complement the
existing range with new segments of goods and services which are not presented
earlier – sport, children's goods, household appliances and electronics, goods
for the house", – it is specified in the regional department of the
consumer market.
The representation near
Shopping Center Izumrudny gorod was opened also by the French company Decathlon
which specializes in development, production and home shopping service with
sports goods for more than 70 sports. Also the region's first dealer center for
sale, repair and service of cars of the Lexus brand began work there in July.
