Jun 13 – RIA Tomsk. Professors of Yale University (USA)
and Higher School of Economics (HSE) will carry out a one-day course for
businessmen and managers in Tomsk State University (TSU); experts will tell how
to use emotions in business and to develop skill of emotional leadership, the
press service of TSU reports.
It is specified that the course "Leadership and Emotional
Intelligence" will take place on June 18 from 10:00 until 18:00 at the
Institute of Economics and Management of TSU (Embankment of Ushayka). It will
be carried out by professor of Yale University, one of the founders of the
scientific concept of emotional intelligence David Caruso and the dean of HSE,
the leading developer of the program for training of managers for the
organizations of the national economy of the Russian Federation Sergey
Filonovich.
"The course will be interesting to owners of the companies, HR
directors, commercial directors, heads of the directions and all who are
interested in development of emotional intelligence and increase in efficiency
of business. Business course format is a practical course with discussion
elements, practical work, demonstrations, illustrative material and master
class from world experts", – it is said in the statement.
It is noted that participants will listen to nine lectures where they
learn about how to analyze and understand negative emotions, to operate them
and to use in decision-making. In addition, Caruso will hold a two-hour master
class "Emotional and intellectual leadership" and a practical training
to express their own and understand other people's emotions.
