TOMSK, Oct 5 – RIA Tomsk. Participants of the workshops at the Tomsk Scientific Forum U-NOVUS will develop projects which will be included in the road map of "INO Tomsk", the deputy governor of the Tomsk region for economy Andrey Antonov told reporters on Friday.
Earlier it was reported that in Tomsk on October 9-13, 2018, will be held the U-NOVUS forum. Its program, instead of the traditional panel discussions, round tables and presentations, will include workshops, networking and design sessions, art residences. On them will meet representatives of the large Russian companies, teams of universities and scientific organizations, technology businesses, participants of School of Key Researchers.
"The forum is moving from discussions to collaboration with large companies, small technology businesses and research teams ... The task (of the workshops) - is to reach specific pilot products that we need to present in the new "INO Tomsk" roadmap", – Antonov said at a press conference in the RIA Tomsk media center.
According to him, this format of work is close to such companies and corporations as Gazprom, Sberbank, Inter RAO and Rosatom. The forum participants will work on solution of 12 problems, including those related to the digitalization of SIBUR’s production, the creation of a “digital hospital” and the interaction of oil organizations with scientists. The developments which will be included in the "INO Tomsk" roadmap will be presented on the final day of the forum, on October 13.

"1.5 thousand people applied for participation in the workshops, but we selected about 620 people ... We very carefully approached the selection of participants, because the requirements from the companies were practical. Our task - is that the workshop participants have competence in solving of these issues", – the vice-governor emphasized.
Earlier it was reported that in 2011 the Government of the Russian Federation approved the concept of creating in the Tomsk region a "Center for Education, Research and Development" ("INO Tomsk 2020"). In August 2016, the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev approved the changes to the "INO Tomsk" road map: in particular, was expanded the participation of universities, research organizations and companies in the region in the implementation of the National Technology Initiative.
