Tomsk universities graduates come from USA, Canada, Italy to U- NOVUS

TOMSK, Oct 5 – RIA Tomsk. Three graduates of Tomsk universities, living and working in Canada, the United States and Italy, will become participants of the Tomsk forum U-NOVUS, the program director of the forum Liana Kobzeva reported RIA Tomsk on Friday.

Earlier it was reported that in Tomsk on October 9-13, 2018, will be held the U-NOVUS forum. Its program, instead of the traditional panel discussions, round tables and presentations, will include workshops, networking and design sessions, art residences. On them will meet representatives of the large Russian companies, teams of universities and scientific organizations, technology businesses, participants of School of Key Researchers.

"We invited to participation graduates of Tomsk universities who today live and work abroad, many of them have taken the citizenship of that country, someone has dual citizenship, someone citizen of Russia, but works abroad", – Kobzeva told at a press conference in the RIA Tomsk media center.

As Kobzeva specified RIA Tomsk, three people have confirmed their participation at the moment: a physician from Harvard (USA) Dmitry Atochin (graduated from Siberian State Medical University (SSMU) and IT specialists from Canada and Italy Alexander Baksht and Rustam Akhtyamov (both graduates of Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR). In addition, it is possible that a graduate of TUSUR Alexander Melkoozerov from Germany will come to Tomsk. They will take part in workshops and hackathons planned within the frameworks of the forum.
