participate in the All-Russian competition "Top-200 best events of the
year" according to the National calendar of events EventsInRussia.com;
Tomsk citizens can vote for them until December 15, the press service of the
regional administration reported on Friday.
The National calendar of events – is the federal project about the best
tourist events in Russia. It is created by the initiative of the Ministry of
Culture. Get the status of the "National event" can creative,
original and safe events. Winners receive active information and PR-support
throughout the year.
"The region will present "Bratina", "Ax Day",
"Etudes of the North", "Yanov Day" and other event actions.
A total 25 holidays of the Tomsk region will compete for the "Top-200 best
events of the year" title according to the National calendar of events
EventsInRussia.com", – is said in the statement.
The competition takes place in two stages – the popular vote and expert
evaluation. Voting started and will last until December 15. Everyone can
participate in it. To do this, it is necessary to go to the announcement of the
event, placed in the national tourist calendar, and press the "like"
button in a special box under the photo gallery.
"The link to the announcements and the list of events nominated from
the Tomsk region are available on the tourist information portal of the
region", – notes the press service.
Simultaneously with the popular vote, the jury members will evaluate the
holidays according to a number of criteria. In total, over 1.5 thousand
projects from 70 regions of the country apply this year for the status of
"Top-200 best events of the year".
Earlier it was reported that the open-air wooden sculpture museum
"Village park "Okolitsa" near Tomsk took the Grand Prix of the
National award in the field of event tourism of Russian Event Awards – 2017. In
total, 639 projects from 65 regions were announced and and the final was
reached by 197 projects from 48 regions. And in the winter of 2018, the
"Village park "Okolitsa" was among the five best ethnographic
complexes and open-air museums in Russia according to the analytical agency "TurStat".
