Tomsk. The
Tomsk region will receive 3 billion rubles from the federal budget for the
reconstruction of the airport complex in Tomsk; using this money it is planned
to reconstruct the runway and other engineering constructions and build a
number of new ones, work will begin in 2019, the press service of the regional
administration reported on Monday.
Earlier it was reported
that the overhaul of the runway of the Tomsk airport was last carried out in
1999-2000, and the service life of the coating is seven to eight years. In June
2016, it became known that the Tomsk region will receive from the state budget
for the reconstruction of the runway – 1.23 billion in 2018 and 1.38 billion in
2019. The airport runway "Tomsk" reconstruction project has passed
the state examination. However, the reconstruction was postponed until 2020 due
to the conversion of the federal program.
"In accordance to the
instructions of the President, the Federal Air Transport Agency included in the
federal program "Development of the regional airports and routes" a
project for the reconstruction of our airport complex. Reconstruction of the
runway and other engineering structures will begin in 2019, for three years the
federal center will allocate for this purpose almost 3 billion rubles", –
the governor of the Tomsk region Sergei Zhvachkin is quoted in the message.
It is noted that the
Federal Air Transport Agency held the first meeting on the reconstruction of
the Tomsk airport with the participation of the heads of FSUE
"Administration of civil airports (airfields)", FSUE GPI and NII GA
"Aeroproject", "Novoport" LLC, "Airport TOMSK"
LLC and the administration of the region where technical details of the
reconstruction, the stages of its implementation and the commissioning of
aerodrome infrastructure facilities were discussed.

It clarifies that the
tender for the selection of the general contractor will be held in January
2019. Within the framework of the reconstruction it is planned to equip the
airport runway with a new artificial turf and drainage system, build a
wastewater treatment plant, emergency search and rescue station, and airport
perimeter fence with technical security equipment.
“A patrol road will also be
reconstructed, a lighting equipment system and new sections of meteorological
equipment will be installed, will be constructed entrances to the designed
buildings and structures, and will be built the engineering communications
necessary for their operation. In addition, reconstruction and installation of
new communication and control lines is planned”, – is said in the statement.
Earlier it was reported
that the reconstruction of the building of the Tomsk airport will begin at the
end of 2019 – early 2020; the approximate cost of the work – is about 1 billion
rubles; 50 million rubles will be allocated by the "Novaport" airport
network for the airport terminal reconstruction project.
