Volume of investment of residents of Tomsk special economic zone (Tomsk SEZ)
into productions for all the time of its existence reached level of budgetary
costs of construction and development of SEZ – 14 billion rubles by the end of
2018, representative of department of investments of the Tomsk region reported
in response to inquiry of RIA Tomsk.
Earlier it was reported on the
website of Audit Chamber of Russia that by results of the analysis of
efficiency of the budgetary investments to 25 SEZ of Russia only three were
recognized as effective: "Alabuga" in Tatarstan, SEZ in the Lipetsk
region and St. Petersburg where the amount of investments of residents exceeded
the budgetary expenses. In other 22 SEZ investments of residents are lower,
than the volume of the budgetary investments.
"The total amount of
investments into construction and development of the Tomsk SEZ at the expense
of budgetary funds was about 14 billion rubles (8.16 billion – the federal
budget, 5.53 billion – the budget of the Tomsk region, means of federal MC SEZ
– 0.29 billion) … During functioning of the Tomsk SEZ (since 2006 – Ed.)
residents carried out 14.1 billion rubles of investments", – it is said in
the statement of the department.
According to the department,
only in the first half of the year 2018 residents of the Tomsk SEZ invested
about 1.3 billion rubles in development of own productions and created more
than 200 jobs. In total during action of the Tomsk SEZ 2100 jobs appeared
there.
"The volume of
investments of residents of the Tomsk SEZ in current (2018) year reached the
level of the budgetary costs of creation of objects of its
infrastructure", – it is emphasized in the message of department of
investments.
The Tomsk SEZ, one of six
technology development zones of the Russian Federation, was opened on April 26,
2006. Now there are 73 residents in the SEZ, it is planned that by 2020 their
number will grow to 106.
