TOMSK, Jan 10 – RIA Tomsk. A native of St. Petersburg,
31-year-old Oleg Molitvin headed the Tomsk Drama Theater; in the new season the
main chief director will present Sebastian’s "Nameless Star",
Fonvizin’s "The Minor", Vyrypayev’s "The Drunks", is reported

"After the holidays, we are releasing Sebastian’s "Nameless Star",
then Fonvizin’s "The Minor", and at the closing of the season we’ll
play the premiere – Vyrypayev’s "The Drunks". I produce theese plays,
but there will be invited directors, negotiations are underway. It seems to me
that it should be the most curious, most interesting theater directors of
Russia", Molitvin is cited on the magazine's website.
Theater under the leadership of Molitvin plans a large project for a student
audience. “Since Tomsk - is a student city, and this cannot be ignored, and the
Year of the Theater began, I want to combine these two things. Of course, there
will be different material, as I’m not only interested in the avant-garde, such
as "Parasites", I’m also interested in traditional theater” - the
head of the theater is quoted.
Molitvin also noted that he does not plan to dismiss employees and recruit a
new troupe: "As for the theater troupe, at the moment the artistic staff
is fully staffed. For me, the most correct course of development of the theater
is non-revolutionary. We will, of course, invite some of the artists, but I
don’t want to say that I’m going to bring up something here, to dismiss... But
we will certainly need young talents".
According to the website of the Tomsk Drama Theater, the previous main
director - Alexander Ogarev - resigned in 2016. He has been the head of the
