TOMSK, Jan 25 – RIA Tomsk. A new rapeseed processing plant opened on Friday on the platform of
"Mezheninovskaya Poultry Farm" in the Tomsk village of Svetly; the
first deliveries of rapeseed oil to the city market will begin in 2-3 months,
it is also planned to export to China and the Baltic countries, the
correspondent of RIA Tomsk reports from the scene.
Earlier it was reported that investments into new production of rapeseed
oil and rapeseed meal amounted to about 1 billion rubles. By 2020, after
reaching full capacity, the company will be able to process up to 60 thousand
tons of seeds per year. The capacity of the first stage of the plant – is 12
thousand tons of seeds per year. "Subsidiary" of the poultry farm –
"Siberian olive" company – is engaged in the construction of the
complex.
According to the correspondent, the launching ceremony of the first stage
of the plant on Friday, January 25, was attended by the head of the LLC
"Mezheninovskaya Poultry Farm" Fedor Khaletsky, the Deputy Governor
of the Tomsk Region Andrey Knorr, as well as representatives of large enterprises
of the food industry of the region.
According to Khaletsky, the company has already held negotiations with
potential wholesale buyers of final products and offers them trial supplies.
"(Now we have to) put the line of bottling, certify (rapeseed oil),
make the technical conditions. Residents of Tomsk will be able to buy rapeseed
oil in 2-3 months", – Khaletsky told RIA Tomsk.
He specified that in the autumn of 2019 rapeseed oil from Tomsk is planned
to be delivered to China and the Baltic countries after the launch of the
second production line with a capacity of 45 thousand tons of seeds per year.
Earlier it was also reported that the company purchased equipment that has
no analogues in Russia. For the Tomsk region, rapeseed ж is a new technical
culture, but it has a high yield in both Russian and world markets. Currently,
rapeseed is grown by more than 20 Tomsk farms. The total production volume – is
more than 19 thousand tons. Most of the rapeseed is exported outside the
region, including abroad.
