"Artlife" plans to launch a plant for the production of medical
gelatin in the village of Kaltai of the Tomsk region in the autumn of 2019, the
deputy governor for investment policy Yuri Gurdin told journalists on Thursday.
Earlier it was reported that in 2012 "Artlife" together with the
Kemerovo Institute of Food Science and Technology won a grant from the Ministry
of Education and Science to develop technology and organize the production of
pharmaceutical gelatin for capsules. To accommodate the production the
"Artlife" company built a production and warehouse complex in Kaltai.
Start of production was planned for 2017.
"The postponement of the start of production in the production and
warehouse complex in the village of Kaltai is associated with the need to
install additional special equipment. <...> A full start of production is
expected in the third quarter of 2019", – the deputy governor said.
He added that the volume of investments in the project will amount to 800
million rubles.
