TOMSK, Feb 19 – RIA Tomsk. Angelina Chebotareva and Elizaveta Moiseenko will take on for the
Tomsk region at the XXIX Winter Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk, the press
service of the regional administration reported on Tuesday.
Earlier it was reported that the XIX Winter
Universiade 2019 will be held from 2 to 20 March 2019 in Krasnoyarsk. More than
3 thousand young athletes from 50 countries will take part in the games.
"Our region at the competitions will be
represented by freestylers Angelina Chebotareva and Elizaveta Moiseenko
involved in ski orienteering", – the head of the regional department for
youth policy, physical education and sports Maksim Maksimov is quoted in the
message.
It is noted that Moiseenko will participate in ski
orienteering competitions on March 4 (sprint) and March 5 (pursuit race).
According to the results of two days, the line-up of the Russian national team
in ski orienteering for a mixed relay and an average distance will be
determined (will be held on March 7 and 10, respectively). Chebotareva will
perform in moguls on March 9, on March 10 she can take part in competitions in
the dual moguls.

Elizaveta Moiseenko was born in Omsk, the sportswoman is 24 years old. In
August 2018, she entered Tomsk State University and studies under the
autonomous master's program "Innovations and Society: Science, Technology,
Medicine". Currently, she is an athlete of the Tomsk regional sports
school of olympic reserve.
Candidate master of sports Angelina Chebotareva was
born in Tomsk, the girl is 18 years old. She is a first-year student of the
Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sports in Omsk, a trainee of
the youth sports school of winter sports of Tomsk and the Tomsk regional sports
school of olympic reserve. Participant of the championship and competition of
Russia, Russian Cup.
Earlier it was also reported that a student of the
Faculty of Physical Education of Tomsk State University (FPE TSU) Andrey
Anisimov will be the only Tomsk snowboarder at the XXIX World Winter
Universiade 2019. As explained RIA Tomsk in the press service of the department
of youth policy, physical education and sports, Anisimov will compete for the
Kemerovo region.
