TOMSK, Feb 20 – RIA Tomsk. National fund of innovations support in education published ranking of universities efficiency based on monitoring of the Ministry of Education; Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) and Siberian State Medical University (SSMU) are into second league, having conceded to National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, is reported on ranking website.

It is reported that the National fund of support of innovations in education of the Russian Federation prepared the ranking of efficiency of higher education institutions of the country. It is estimated on the basis of six indicators, including educational, research, international, financial and economic activity and employment of graduates. In total 1298 universities of the Russian Federation participate in the ranking. All participants are distributed in it on 10 leagues.
TPU, SSMU and six more higher education institutions, having received identical assessment, entered into the second league. Tomsk State University and Tomsk State Pedagogical University got into group of higher education institutions of the third league, Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building – in the fourth, and Tomsk University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics – in the fifth.
"It is the ranking based on monitoring of efficiency of the universities. The Ministry of Education and Science carries out collection of information from all universities of the country – there many parameters. In addition the ministry unloads the huge volume of information from the systems. Monitoring is the fullest, deepest and most objective system of assessment of activity of the universities", – the vice rector of TPU Lilia Kiryanova commented on data of the ranking.
