TOMSK, Apr 5 – RIA Tomsk. About 40 speakers will appear at the DevPRO’19 IT conference in
Tomsk; in particular, they will talk about how to teach the kettle to
"talk" and how to process the image using neural networks, a Rubius
representative – the company which acts
as one of the conference organizers, told RIA Tomsk.
Earlier it was reported that the IT conference DevPRO
has been held in Tomsk since 2013. This year it will be held on April 27– 28 in
the building of the Institute of Economics and Management of Tomsk State
University (TSU) on the Embankment of the Ushaika River, 12. The developers
will discuss technologies for creating artificial intelligence and products for
virtual and augmented reality. Registration on the DevPRO’19 website is
required for participation.
"In total, 36 speakers from Russia, USA, UK,
Finland, Spain and the Czech Republic will speak at the DevPRO’19 conference.
For example, the developer of the popular Prisma application will tell how to
transfer style from one image to another using neural networks", – the interlocutor of the agency told.
She added that the representative of the company of
mobile development KODE Nikita Rusin will also speak at the conference. His
report will answer the question: "Where to dig if it is necessary for the
device to "talk", whether it is a kettle, lock or light bulb".
The conference organizers are National Research Tomsk
