Tomsk State University (TSU) and former CEO of the Tomsk Regional Engineering Center Mikhail Golovatov registered new engineering center for electronics and microelectronics, follows from the data of "SPARK-Interfax". Rostec Group become an industrial partner, the advisor to the administration of TSU Konstantin Belyakov told RIA Tomsk on Tuesday.
According to "SPARK-Interfax" analytical system data, TSU in the "Engineering Center for Electronics and Microelectronics" company owns a share of 15%. The main owner with a share of 85% is the former general director of the Tomsk Regional Engineering Center, Mikhail Golovatov.
"There are several laboratories at TSU that work in the field of electronics and microelectronics at Faculty of Physics and Engineering and Siberian Institute of Physics and Technology. They will be involved in a new engineering center. Plus, we signed contracts with external partners – Tomsk technological companies. We will work with them on specific projects. Thus we plan to run the business interaction system", – Belyakov explained.

According to him, potentially the turnover of the engineering center can reach tens of billions of rubles, however, Belyakov found it difficult to name the deadlines for which it could reach such turns. The plans of the center to go on the turnover of several hundred million rubles in 2019. The new center was headed by the former general director of the Micran company Vladimir Dotsenko, and the state corporation Rostec became the first industrial partner of the center.
"We have previously agreed with the largest companies of Rostec holding that we will cooperate and work together at the level of R&D (Research and Development. – Ed.) ... These are not initial developments, these are targeted studies that are carried out for their final use in the manufacture of products", – Belyakov said.
In the near future TSU plans to open another engineering center in the field of electronics, as well as an engineering center for new materials. Preliminary their opening is scheduled for 2019, but dates can be rescheduled, he added.
