TOMSK, May 30 – RIA Tomsk. Sales of high-tech products of Tomsk industrial enterprises to the largest Russian companies within the framework of import substitution programs increased by one third in 2018 and exceeded 12.5 billion rubles, the governor Sergei Zhvachkin said during the annual report to the Legislative Duma of the Tomsk region on Thursday.
According to the data sounded by the governor, 30 enterprises of the Tomsk region are already participating in the import substitution programs of the largest Russian companies. Among customers of Tomsk products there are such companies as Gazprom, Rosneft, Gazpromneft, Rosseti, Rosatom, Roskosmos, Inter RAO, Sibur and other companies of the Russian Federation.
"Last year, sales of the Tomsk high-tech products to five largest Russian companies grew by a third and exceeded 12.5 billion rubles already! For us, these huge numbers primarily mean new workshops, new jobs, additional taxes to the budget, profit growth of enterprises and, of course, wage growth", – Zhvachkin said.
According to him, thanks to the efforts of Tomsk lobbyists to include Tomsk companies in the list of suppliers for the needs of state corporations and large holdings, the industrial sphere of the Tomsk region is actively updated. At the enterprises of the region there are appear new production facilities.
"For example, the Tomsk Electrotechnical Plant re-equipped its tool production. "Sibkabel" opened a new production for the production of cables in rubber insulation. "Cryogenmash" built a new production of technical gases. The "Tomlesdrev" chipboard plant went out of design capacity. Our food industry workers brought to the market more than two hundred new names of products from wild plants", – the governor emphasized.
