TOMSK, May 30 – RIA Tomsk. Sales of high-tech products of Tomsk industrial enterprises to the
largest Russian companies within the framework of import substitution programs
increased by one third in 2018 and exceeded 12.5 billion rubles, the governor
Sergei Zhvachkin said during the annual report to the Legislative Duma of the
Tomsk region on Thursday.
According to the data sounded by the governor, 30
enterprises of the Tomsk region are already participating in the import
substitution programs of the largest Russian companies. Among customers of
Tomsk products there are such companies as Gazprom, Rosneft, Gazpromneft,
Rosseti, Rosatom, Roskosmos, Inter RAO, Sibur and other companies of the
Russian Federation.
"Last year, sales of the Tomsk high-tech products
to five largest Russian companies grew by a third and exceeded 12.5 billion
rubles already! For us, these huge numbers primarily mean new workshops, new
jobs, additional taxes to the budget, profit growth of enterprises and, of
course, wage growth", – Zhvachkin said.

new production facilities.
"For example, the Tomsk Electrotechnical Plant
re-equipped its tool production. "Sibkabel" opened a new production
for the production of cables in rubber insulation. "Cryogenmash" built
a new production of technical gases. The "Tomlesdrev" chipboard plant
went out of design capacity. Our food industry workers brought to the market
more than two hundred new names of products from wild plants", – the
