the special economic zone (SEZ) "Tomsk" is planned to be completed by
2022; 2 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes, the General Director
of the "SEZ TVT Tomsk" JSC Konstantin Kaminsky told RIA Tomsk.
Earlier it was reported that the transfer from the
federal to the regional level of authority to manage the SEZ began in the
summer of 2017, and therefore the construction of the exhibition center and the
engineering center, which began in 2015, was stopped. There is a plan to
complete the transfer of authority in the coming month, to resume construction
of the exhibition center, engineering center and other infrastructure objects
of the SEZ facilities – in the third quarter of 2019.
"For the completion of facilities are allocated
funds in the amount of 2 billion rubles ... Within this amount, it is planned
to build the first stage of the engineering center (production and laboratory
facilities), additional financing will be required to complete the second stage
of the engineering center. It is planned to complete construction of all
facilities by 2022", – Kaminsky said.
He explained that it is planned to complete the
construction of the exhibition center, the engineering center and
infrastructure facilities in the SEZ. The latter include the leading electrical
substations at the "Severnaya" ("Northern") and
"Yuzhnaya" ("Southern") sites, as well as a complex of
administrative buildings at the "Severnaya" ("Northern")
site.
Earlier it was also reported that the volume of
investments of the residents of the SEZ "Tomsk" in their production
during its existence reached by the end of 2018 the level of budget
expenditures for the construction and development of the SEZ – 14 billion
rubles. According to the Investment portal of the region, as of June 1, 2019,
56 companies are residents of the "Tomsk" SEZ.
