of Tomsk State University (TSU) received support from the Oxford Russia Fund;
authors of the works will receive monthly nominal scholarships of 7 thousand
rubles, the press service of the university said on Wednesday.
It is specified that in March 2019, TSU won the
competition of the Oxford Russia Fund "Tutor at the university: specifics,
preparation, practice". According to the terms of the competition, first
the selection of the best projects took place inside the university, then they
were submitted for consideration by the fund experts. The winners were six
people.
"The winners are those employees whose work is
rated as the highest. Over the next academic year they will receive monthly
scholarships in the amount of 7 thousand rubles. From September 2019 to June
2020 the contest scholars will work on the submitted projects and report on the
interim results every month", – is said in the message.
It is noted that almost all projects submitted to the
competition are already being implemented. Thus, the competition allowed to
summarize the experience of the university, which already is in the field of
tutoring, and to receive additional funding at the expense of scholarships.
