TOMSK, Aug 1 – RIA Tomsk. Nadezhda Babkina and the
"Russian Song" theater will perform on August 24 at the "Ax Day" in the
rural park "Okolitsa" near Tomsk, the press service of the region
administration reported on Thursday.
Earlier it was reported that
the XII international festival of folk crafts "Ax Day" will be held from
August 20 to 25 in the rural park "Okolitsa" in the village of
Zorkaltsevo of the Tomsk district. 140 masters from 23 countries of the
world and 21 regions of Russia were invited to participate in the
festival.
"The opening ceremony of the festival of folk crafts "Ax
Day" will be held on August 24 ... The performance of Nadezhda Babkina
and the Moscow State Musical Theater of Folklore "Russian Song" will end
the day", – reports the regional administration.

It is added that
also on August 24 for the guests of the "Ax Day" on the stage of
Okolitsa there will pass a program with the participation of laureates
of the Governor's festival of folk art, and at the theater venue – the
III international festival of puppet theaters and theaters for children
"Fairy-tale booth of Skomorokh". In addition, a concert of the folklore
ensemble "KrAsota" (Novosibirsk) will take place on the site of the
Tomsk district.
It is also reported that on the eve of the
ceremonial opening of the "Ax Day", on August 23, the Okolitsa will host
the "international accordion festival "Bayan gathers friends together!"
with the participation of Honored Artist of Russia Valery Syomin".
