TOMSK, Sep 11 - RIA Tomsk. Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) graduated the first 50 students of the training program of the Center for Internet of Things Security (IoT) of Samsung Academy; two graduates became finalists and would present the university at the final stage of the program in Moscow, press service of the university reports.
Earlier it was reported that Samsung Electronics and TUSUR opened the Center for Internet of Things Security (IoT) in Tomsk. It is part of the Samsung IoT Academy project, which also involves universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Tatarstan.
"Graduates of the Academy were awarded certificates confirming the successful completion of the IoT program at Samsung Academy devoted to the study of the basics of the Internet of Things, as well as the development of their own practical project... The first participants of the program were 50 students of TUSUR, most of whom are representatives of the Faculty of Security," - the message says.

It is added that the students Artem Kontsov and Denis Kudryavtsev who passed the internal selection became finalists of the competition of the educational program "IoT Academy Samsung-2019." Their Easy Parking project was selected from the developments of all participants of the program in ten universities of the country. They will represent TUSUR at the final stage in Moscow on September 12-13, where the winners of the contest will be determined.
"Curators of the educational project Samsung in Moscow noted the high level of projects of students of TUSUR, having awarded them certificates confirming successful development of the course," - the curator of the program of the IoT Academy of Samsung in TUSUR Anton Konev is quoted in the message.
It is added that the acceptance for free training at the "IoT Academy Samsung" is open until September 23. Any student of TUSUR technical faculty starting from the second year can become a student.
