the exhibition in Seoul (South Korea) cosmetics with xenon created by Tomsk State University (TSU) biochemists, and expressed their willingness to promote
it on the Korean market; now the developers intend to expand the product line,
the university’s press service said on Thursday.
Earlier it was reported that TSU scientists have
developed a transdermal method for delivering biologically active substances to
the body using an inert gas - xenon. Based on the development, scientists
together with Tomsk nanocenter Sygma released creams that are successfully sold
in Southeast Asia under the brand name aleexe.
"Innovative cosmetics aleexe... continues to
develop the Asian market. It was recently presented at the InterCHARM Beauty
Expo Korea 2019 exhibition held in Seoul (South Korea). Several foreign
companies operating in Southeast Asia expressed their readiness to promote
these new xenon-based products on the Korean market", – is said in the report.

It is added that due to the great interest in
cosmetics with xenon, the developers intend to conduct additional research to
expand the product line. In addition, scientists plan to develop new
transdermal methods for drug delivery, for example, insulin or anesthetics.
It is also reported that at present SIP
"Nonex" (a small innovative enterprise created to commercialize the
development of TSU biochemists) is negotiating with companies that have
expressed willingness to promote Tomsk cosmetics in South Korea, as well as
with two companies interested in using Tomsk technology to create their own
products.
