RIA Tomsk. The Dean of the Faculty of Historical and
Political Studies of Tomsk State University (FHPS TSU) Evgeny Lukov has been
appointed Vice-Rector of the university for Educational Activities, such a
decision was made at a meeting by the TSU Academic Council on Wednesday, an
employee of the press service of the university told RIA Tomsk.
Earlier it was
reported that on November 5, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Viktor Dyomin
took the post of the Acting Rector of Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) in
connection with the voluntary resignation of Petr Chubik.
"Today (on
Wednesday) at the Academic Council the rector of the university Eduard
Galazhinsky announced that Evgeny Viktorovich Lukov, who previously held the
post of the Dean of the Faculty of Historical and Political Studies of Tomsk
State University will become the Vice-Rector for Educational Activities of
Tomsk State University", – the press service of the university said.
He specified
that Lukov will begin the duties of the Vice-Rector next week – from December
2.
Evgeny Lukov was
born in Tomsk in 1974, in 1996 he graduated the Faculty of History of TSU. From
1997 to 2017 he taught at the Department of Contemporary Russian History, from
2017 – the dean of the Faculty of History, which was then transformed into the
Faculty of Historical and Political Studies
