Life: Global Changes" will be held at TSU within the framework of the
student olympiad "I am a Professional" in February 2020; 130 students
from Russian universities will work on cases in the areas of
"Psychology", "Ecology", "Geology" and "Biotechnology", a representative
of the olympiad press service told RIA Tomsk.
According to him, the Winter School will be held at Tomsk State University within the framework of the All-Russian Student Olympiad "I
am a Professional" for the third time. Applications for participation
were submitted by more than 400 students from 147 universities in Russia
and 57 regions.
"The Winter School "Quality of Life: Global Changes" will be held on
February 17-20 on the basis of the Tomsk State University campus. It
will unite students from four areas: "Psychology", "Ecology", "Geology"
and "Biotechnology". Participants will work together in
interdisciplinary teams over cases compiled by representatives of the
university", – the agency’s interlocutor said.
After a motivational essay contest, experts will select 130
participants from the total number of applicants. Participation in the
Winter School is free of charge, the cost of living and meals of the
participants are covered by the organizers.
Earlier it was reported that more than 150 students from 69
universities of Russia arrived in Tomsk for the final stage of the
All-Russian Student Olympiad "I am a Professional" in 2019, they also
took part in Winter School.
