TOMSK, Jan 20 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk State University (TSU) launched the "Fashion Illustration: Technical Drawing" course on the Coursera educational platform, listeners will learn how to professionally draw clothing sketches, the university’s press service said Monday.
According to the press service, the new free online course of TSU, which starts on Coursera on January 20, will be useful to designers of clothing and tailors who want to learn how to clearly and intelligibly depict their ideas on paper.
"Online course "Fashion Illustration: Technical Drawing" teaches the techniques of professional image of models of clothes for various purposes. Even for those who do not know how to draw at all, a course based on the author's methodology of teaching drawing will allow to achieve an acceptable result in a short time", - is said in the message.
It is noted that the course participants, authored by the head of the fashion laboratory of the Siberian Design Center of TSU Natalya Kadieva, are waiting for a large number of practical tasks on mutual assessment and self-testing and on the collective compilation of a model catalog.

According to her, in 2020, two new online courses on sketching and designing clothes, which form a new online specialization in fashion modeling, should also be launched on the Coursera platform.
