The Moscow Metro consists of 15 metro lines with 269
stations, on which more than 12 thousand trains run daily. There are 6,200
video screens installed in the subway cars of the capital, which broadcast
television channels, information clips, and advertisements. Monitors are
designed for a large audience: more than 7 million people use the subway daily,
added the SEZ.
Earlier it was reported that Elecard in 2019 helped to
organize the first in Russia 8K broadcast. The company provided an MPEG4
encoder – a module that compresses video information according to a specific
standard, "packs" it and transmits via satellite.
