3 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk State University (TSU) signed a cooperation agreement with
the international platform for the commercialization of technologies
Commercialization Reactor, which promotes high-tech developments of
universities in the European market, the press service of the university said
on Monday.
It is
specified that one of the tasks of modern universities is the creation of
modern products and technologies based on the development of scientists. At the
same time, developments, the promotion of which are undertaken by engineering
centers and other organizations, are in demand in the real sector of the
economy in 3-4 cases out of 10. Support for Commercialization Reactor allows to
bring to production 6-7 projects out of 10.
"TSU
signed a cooperation agreement with the international platform
Commercialization Reactor. The Reactor has been creating high-tech startups
based on research and development and promoting them on the European market for
more than 10 years. TSU became the third university in Russia after MSU and
NSU, with which the international platform started comprehensive
cooperation", – is said in the report.

For
projects that have received platform support, full-fledged business teams are
created that are negotiating with investors and potential consumers.
Entrepreneurs help scientists find investors to promote products and
technologies. In some cases, financial support is provided by the
Commercialization Reactor venture fund, notes the report.
"TSU has
scientific schools recognized around the world, a huge scientific groundwork
has been made, which can be effectively used. However, researchers have the goal
to transform the gained knowledge into new products and technologies. This
desire is extremely important, since without it there can be no productive
interaction", – the press service quotes the Director of Commercialization
Reactor Nikolai Adamovich.
Earlier it
was reported that in November 2019, employees of the Biological Institute of
TSU presented at the event of Commercialization Reactor on the selection of
partners Ignition Event in Riga an "Aeroprobe" development for the
diagnosis and cleaning of bottom sediments of oil-contaminated water bodies. As
a result, a small enterprise was created in Latvia, which began to promote
technology in the European market.
