TOMSK, Apr 24 – RIA Tomsk. More than 300 residents of the Tomsk region remain in 51 countries of
the world, 104 people have returned to the region from abroad over the past
week; at the moment 2 156 people are under medical supervision due to the
threat of COVID-19, 680 of whom returned from abroad, the press service of the
regional administration said on Friday.
Earlier it was reported that in the near future about 360 residents of the
Tomsk region will return by special flights from abroad. All arrivals from
abroad, Moscow and St. Petersburg for 2 weeks must stay on self-isolation or in
an observatory center.
"In the last week alone, we have removed 104 residents of the region
from abroad. Today, 308 residents of the region remain in 51 countries of the
world. I am amazed at many people, two-thirds of them left abroad during the
epidemic, and many with children", – the head of the Tomsk region Sergey
Zhvachkin is quoted.

According to the press service, there are 2 156 people remain under the
supervision of doctors in the Tomsk region, 680 of whom returned from abroad.
Of the 59 patients, who have confirmed COVID-19, 39 are in hospitals, 16 have
no symptoms of disease and are on self-isolation with daily a medical check-up.
It is added that since the beginning of the pandemic in the Tomsk region 13
thousand PCR tests have been carried out, seven laboratories are working.
It was also reported that from the beginning of the epidemic until April
24, 59 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the Tomsk region. Four patients have
already recovered. Four in сritical but stable condition are connected to ALV
