TOMSK, Jun 4 – RIA Tomsk. A glassware manufacturing plant located in the village of Samus received a soft loan from the Industrial Development Fund (IDF) – 244 million rubles – for its own development; the company will have to pay off its debt within five years, the press service of the Tomsk regional administration reported with reference to the governor Sergey Zhvachkin.
"Last year, the expert council of the Industrial Development Fund (IDF) approved a loan of 244 million rubles to Tomsk Interglass LLC for a period of five years for the development of a glassware factory in the village of Samus", – Zhvachkin is quoted in the statement.
According to the Interglass website, the company produces glass containers for the food and technical industries – glass bottles and cans of standard shape. The geography of deliveries covers the regions of Russia from the Urals to the Far East, as well as Kazakhstan.
According to the "SPARK-Interfax" information and analytical system, Interglass LLC was registered in the village of Samus (located 40 kilometers from Tomsk, administratively subordinate to Closed Administrative-Territorial Formation Seversk) in 2017. The average number of employees at the end of 2019 was 232 people.
It was also reported that the IDF programs provide access to preferential loan financing necessary to launch production of unique domestic products, as well as analogues of advanced international developments. In March 2020, the modernization of EleSy company's production was completed at a cost of almost 100 million rubles, 69 million of which were allocated by the IDF – this is the third project implemented in the Tomsk region with the support of the fund.
