TOMSK, Jul 9 – RIA Tomsk. XTRONIK, a company of Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) business incubator, plans to launch an application for remote electric vehicle charge control at the end of 2020; today, the number of electric vehicles in Tomsk is approaching a hundred, the university’s press service said on Thursday.
Earlier it was reported that the XTRONIK company is developing various solutions for the development of electric vehicles in Tomsk. In 2017, the company's engineers created a model of the electric cycle and the first charging station for electric vehicles in the regional center. It is located near the student business incubator "Druzhba" ("Friendship"). XTRONIK planned to increase the number of charging stations.
According to the press service, together with Tomsk engineers, the developer of the Paris Graduate School of Digital Innovation Jean Valrave participated in the creation of an application for remote electric vehicle charge control.
"The resident of the TUSUR student business incubator, XTRONIK company, is completing the development of an application for electric vehicle owners. The application helps to remotely control the charge of an electric vehicle ... The application is scheduled to be launched at the end of 2020", – is said in the report.

It is noted that with the help of the application, any owner of an electric vehicle will be able to remotely adjust the indicators of the charge power of his vehicle and the amount of electricity. The application will display all the parameters of the charging process and the time required for this. Also, free charging stations that can be booked at a convenient time will be visible in the program.
According to the press service of the university with reference to the general director of XTRONIK Semyon Shkarupo, the number of electric vehicles in Tomsk currently approaches a hundred. Most of them are Nissan Leaf. At the moment, five charging stations established by XTRONIK company are installed in the regional center, three of which are publicly available.
