IT specialists of Tomsk State University (TSU) became experts of the
international distance Future Skills Camp and organized online classes
on the development of mobile applications and big data for participants
from China, Brazil, South Africa, India and other countries, the press
service of the university said on Tuesday.
It is specified
that the Future Skills Camp - is an international summer camp organized
by the "Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia)" union to expand
professional skills in the competencies of the future. It takes place
online from June 23 to August 31 in 19 directions.
"TSU
employees act as key experts-organizers of the camp. TSU teachers have
already conducted classes on the IT competence "Development of mobile
applications" for participants from 16 countries. On July 24, the second
course started – in the direction of "Machine learning and big data", –
the report said.
According to the press service, TSU is
represented in the camp by the staff of the TSU Higher IT School and the
Institute of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. Participants
from 16 countries, including China, Costa Rica, Brazil, Iran, Germany,
India, and others, attended their classes on the specifics of mobile
application development.
More than 60 participants from
Russia, China, Brazil, South Africa, Ecuador, Ghana, Kenya and India
will learn from TSU's experts in machine learning and big data.
It
is noted that the Future Skills Camp is supported by Rosatom, Rostec,
Roscosmos, the Russian Quantum Center and other large organizations and
companies.
