Tomsk IT-company Rubius has opened a competitive recruitment of students for the free program "TomskHUB Accelerator"; the experts plan to teach Tomsk residents to build a "dream team" and bring the idea to a startup within two months, a representative of the company Anna Nesgovorova told RIA Tomsk on Friday.
According to the Rubius website, the company has been developing engineering software for companies from Russia, the USA, Europe and Asia for over 15 years. Rubius's head office is located in Tomsk.
"Any Tomsk citizen who has an idea for a project or a startup can apply for participation in the program, pass the selection and then study entrepreneurship for free. During the program, participant will study the following blocks: team, market, idea, sales, promotion, investment. The material will be given by company leaders, successful entrepreneurs, experts", - she said.

According to Nesgovorova, "TomskHUB Acelerator" will help turn the idea into a functioning startup. "Our program - is about cool mentors. Successful entrepreneurs, managers and founders of companies will be mentors and assistants in the accelerator. Listeners will receive individual consultations and 50+ hours of master classes and trainings", - the agency's interlocutor said.
She added that the final stage of the program will include the so-called Demo day, in which real investors will take part. Students will be able to present their projects to them and win 100 thousand rubles or receive the first investment for the development of their projects.
"Participation is free. We invite schoolchildren, students, postgraduate students, young scientists, specialists, managers of existing businesses, as well as project teams from the Tomsk region who have an innovative project from the "idea" stage to the "first sales".
