TOMSK, Oct 16 – RIA Tomsk. Atom-TOR management
company (engaged in operational management of the Seversk priority
social and economic development area) signed an agreement with the
seventh resident; this status was received by TEFRA company, which
intends to implement a project for the processing of ash and slag, the
press service of the Tomsk region administration reported.
It
was previously reported that in 2019, the Russian authorities
established the priority social and economic development area with a
specialization in high-tech chemistry, medical industry, nuclear
materials, engineering and IT in closed administrative territorial unit
Seversk. Each resident, having invested at least 10 million rubles in
production, will receive benefits: contributions to the social insurance
fund will be 7.6%, as opposed to the standard 30%, income tax - 5%
instead of 20%.
"The management company of the priority
social and economic development area Atom-TOR JSC has signed agreements
on activities at the Seversk PSEDA with TEFRA LLC. (The Company) plans
to implement a project for the final processing of ash and slag
materials. The investments will amount to about 430 million rubles", –
is said in the message.
By the end of the year, Atom-TOR
expects to register six more residents in the Seversk PSEDA. Experts are
currently reviewing their projects and business plans. It is assumed
that investments in projects will exceed 4.5 billion rubles, and the
launch of production will create more than 400 jobs, says the report.

To
date, six companies have had the status of residents of the Seversk
PSEDA – VAB-70 (production of non-standard equipment for nuclear energy
and defense industry), Sibirskiy Titan ("Siberian Titanium") (production
of titanium dioxide), MK-Polymer (composite compounds for the cable
industry), Tomsk-Azot, Severskkabel (production of cable products) and
PSK "TomBat" (production of cast-iron heating batteries).
