won in the medal standings at the CMAS Sport Diving World Championship, which
ended in Tomsk; Russian divers won a total of 35 medals, the press service of
the regional administration reported on Tuesday.
Earlier it was reported that the World Underwater Sports Championships was
held in Tomsk from 3 to 13 July 2021. It included CMAS Finswimming World
Championship and CMAS Sport Diving World Championship. Athletes from 31
countries from Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America took part in the
championships.
"In the Tomsk center of water sports the CMAS Sport Diving World
Championship came to the end. The Russian Underwater Federation (RUF) team
became the leader in the medal standings with a big margin", says the report.

Russian divers have won 35 medals (14 gold, 16 silver and five bronze)
based on the results of three competition days. Belarusian athletes took second
place in the overall standings with 15 medals, of which six – the highest.
French divers with one silver and three bronze medals crowned the third place.
Athletes from the Tomsk region took part in the competition as part of the
RUF team. In the relay 4×50 m immersion torpedo (mixed) Tomsk citizens took
first place. The team included Pavel Makarov, Tatiana Prichinina, Daria
Soboleva and Ivan Rozhkov.
Rozhkov and Makarov won another gold medal in the 50 meters octopus (men)
discipline. Ivan Rozhkov became the silver medalist in the 50 meters lift bag 6
kg (men) discipline, while Pavel Makarov won bronze. Ivan Rozhkov took one more
silver together with Anastasia Mulkova from Perm in the 100 m octopus (mixed
pairs) discipline.
Ivan Rozhkov won the bronze medal in 300 meters trial (men) discipline.
