TOMSK, Jul 22 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk
research and production company Micran will develop and by 2023 will
produce the first in Russia satellite communication terminals with the
help of federal subsidies, and by 2024 – portable spectrum analyzers
that are also used in telecommunications, CEO of the company Vera
Paramonova told RIA Tomsk.
Spectrum analyzers
"This
year we won subsidies under the 109th and 218th government resolutions.
The first subsidy will be used to develop a spectrum analyzer up to 14
gigahertz. It will be a portable device that can be used both in
production and in the field", – Paramonova said.
According
to her, Russia does not manufacture its own portable spectrum analyzers,
and due to this fact Russian business and state structures are forced
to buy and use high-precision but expensive foreign devices.
According
to Micran, the analyzer will be used both for civilian and special
purposes: for installation and diagnostics of cellular and special
communication towers, for input control of various HF and SHF devices
used in radioelectronics, telecommunications, radiolocation and
instrument-making. The development is planned to be completed at the end
of 2024.
Satellite terminals
Micran,
together with the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, will
create satellite communication terminals for critical infrastructure
within the framework of the second grant. The terminals can be used in
regions with an underdeveloped structure and harsh climate – in the
Arctic, in areas of Siberia and the Far East.

"The project
is aimed at the development and organization of high-tech production of
satellite ground subscriber terminal of the satellite communication
system, designed to provide broadband access to the Internet, the
provision of trunk satellite channels for corporate users", – the head of
the company said.
She specified that for today such
terminals are not made in Russia, all modems are localization of foreign
goods. It is planned to develop a completely domestic satellite ground
subscriber terminal of the satellite communication system within the
framework of the development work. This project will seriously load the
production of the company.
The interlocutor of the agency
added that the terminal will work on the domestic software, use
noise-resistant coding and provide cryptoprotection of signals. The
completion date is 2023.
