© сайт ТУСУРа TOMSK, Sep 13 – RIA Tomsk.Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR)
defended its application to Minobrnauki to participate in the Priority
2030 program; among others, TUSUR identified the creation of next
generation communication systems and safe digital environment as its
strategic projects, Rector Victor Rulevsky wrote in his Telegram
channel.
It was reported earlier that in June, the
Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation
launched a new Program of Strategic Academic Leadership (PSAL) Priority
2030 to improve the competitiveness of universities. In the first stage,
120 universities will be selected to participate, and they will receive
additional funding.
"TUSUR (September 12) submitted the
university development program until 2030 to the commission of the
Priority 2030 state program... Our main strategic projects are:
microelectronics and communication systems of new generation; IT, safe
digital environment and cyberphysical systems; space science and
engineering; biomedicine", – Rulevsky wrote.
He added that
the university intends to implement the projects together with
industrial partners, in particular, Miсran and Academician M.F.
Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems. Representatives of these
companies joined the university's team and took part in the defense.
Within the framework of cooperation TUSUR will conduct joint research
and development, training specialists with "competences of the future".
It
was also reported that, apart from TUSUR, four other Tomsk universities
applied for participation in the program: classical (TSU), polytechnic
(TPU), medical (SSMU) and architecture and building (TSUAB). TSU, TPU,
SSMU have already defended their programs. In total, the Tomsk
universities have included in their applications 17 key areas, in the
development of which they intend to use each other's potential.
