© РИА Томск. Сергей Беркман TOMSK, Oct 18 – RIA Tomsk. Three
airlines: Aeroflot, S7 Airlines and Pobeda, will operate flights on the
Moscow-Tomsk-Moscow route in the next six months, the airport's press
service said on Monday. Information about Aeroflot flights will soon
appear in the online schedule, a representative of the airport explained
to RIA Tomsk.
It was previously reported that two
airlines – Aeroflot and Ural Airlines – canceled their flights from and
to Tomsk in September. The companies did not comment on the reasons for
their decision, but Ural Airlines reported financial losses due to the
reconstruction of the runway of Tomsk airport. Tomsk authorities have
begun negotiations with Aeroflot in the hope of persuading the company's
management to resume flights.
"The autumn-winter schedule
2021/2022, which is published on the official website of Tomsk Airport,
will come into effect from November 1, 2021. Aeroflot, S7 Airlines and
Pobeda will continue to operate flights between Tomsk and Moscow in the
new autumn-winter season. Thus, the frequency of regular flights to
Moscow will amount to 3 to 4 flights a day", – says the statement.
A
representative of the Tomsk airport explained that the negotiations on
the continuation of flights were conducted between the management of the
air harbor and Aeroflot. In the near future, information about the
airline's flights will be displayed in the schedule on the airport's
website.
