conference in the field of information technology IT City, which was
supposed to be held in Tomsk on November 12 and 13, has been postponed
until March 2022, the event manager told RIA Tomsk.
Earlier
it was reported that IT City is one of the largest IT conferences
beyond the Urals. It is held annually in Tomsk and brings together
entrepreneurs, managers and specialists, as well as IT students. In
2020, the event was held in an online format; in 2021, it was planned to
be held offline, with around 1,000 guests expected.
"Due
to the epidemiological situation in the city, we are postponing the
conference <...> to March 25-26, 2022", – the agency's interlocutor
said.
She specified that the program and speakers will remain the same.
Earlier
it was reported that representatives of major Russian technological and
IT companies were announced for the conference: Userstory, Sibedge,
iFellow, MTS Bank, Infotecs, ilink, VSK Insurance House, TAGREE, CFT,
Elcomplus, Usetech. Tinkoff Bank and HeadHunter will be the partners of
the conference. The conference is organized by Tomsk IT companies
Aurigma, Sibedge, Lab365 and Userstory. The event is supported by the
Tomsk regional administration and the Smart Technologies innovation
cluster.
