TOMSK, Apr 12 – RIA Tomsk. The lyceum at Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) improved the positions in top-200 schools on quality of training for entering the leading HEIs of Russia – following the results of 2015 it has risen from the ninth to the eighth place, website of expert rating agency RAEX ("Expert RA") reports.
The rating of schools RAEX (Expert RA) is an assessment of what schools prepare the greatest number of students for the best higher education institutions of Russia. For definition of a position of school data on the number of the graduates, who entered the university in 2014 and 2015.
Earlier it was reported that in June, 2015 the lyceum at TPU has taken the ninth place in the rating of the best schools on quality of training for entering the leading Russian higher education institutions according to the expert rating agency "Expert RA".
"The rating of schools RAEX (Expert RA) allows to understand at which schools the intellectual elite of Russia is formed: where graduates are trained, who successfully enter 20 best Russian universities <…>. The rating is focused, first of all, on parents of pupils and school students, who are aimed at entering prestigious higher education institution", – it is told in the message.
The top ten of the rating included mainly Moscow schools. An exception have made the Ekaterinburg SESC (the 6th place), Presidential physical and mathematical lyceum No. 239 of St. Petersburg (the 7th place) and Tomsk lyceum at TPU (the 8th place).According to the agency, the average annual number of pupils of lyceum at TPU, who have entered universities on a free basis following the results of reception campaigns 2014 and 2015, has made 96,5 people. For comparison – at the leader of the rating, the Moscow lyceum No. 1580 at MSTU of Bauman – this indicator has made 168 people.
