TOMSK, Jun 10 – RIA Tomsk. The Siberian center of robotics which opened on Friday in Tomsk will allow to realize risky projects for the defense industry complex (DIC), the head of the Fund of Perspective Researches (FPR) Andrey Grigoriev reported on Friday at opening of the center.
Earlier it was reported that the Siberian center of robotics is the first FPR regional branch and will coordinate work of robotics throughout Siberia. In the Tomsk center competences of fund for all directions of its work will be concentrated: chemical and biological, physics and technology, information, medical and robotic technologies. The center opened in the engineering case of the Tomsk special economic zone."It will be always possible to come to the center <…> and to bring the most mad ideas <…>. Mad – is in sense of flight of thought, but justification has to be rigid", – Grigoriev told.
The governor of the Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin noted that the center has been created in Tomsk not incidentally.
"We for several decades systemically go in for robotics, including military, a dual purpose. <…> At us at universities preparation on 11 specialties connected with robotics is conducted. For DIC at us there are more than three thousand students study", – the head of the region explained.
The member of board of the Military-industrial commission of the Russian Federation Oleg Martyanov, in turn, specified that the experience got during creation of FPR Tomsk division will be applied in other regions. "In fact, robotics for us – is the uniting symbol. We wait from you broader approach to this direction <...>, (projects) within the frameworks of FRP which are necessary for our "defense industry", for our state", – he added.
