TOMSK, Oct 7 – RIA Tomsk. The project of the Tomsk region on development of translational medicine won the Grand Prix at the All-Russian program competition "Management skill: development of regional teams"; project implementation will allow to reduce terms of new drugs creation, the press service of the regional administration reported on Friday.
It is specified that within the competition team of regions of Russia together with experts in the sphere of public administration within five months developed projects on improvement of investment climate and attraction of investments. The president of Strategy Partners Group Alexander Idrisov, the deputy minister of economic development Alexander Tsybulsky and the chairman of the board of VTsIOM Fund Konstantin Abramov entered into jury of the competition.
"The team of the Tomsk region received the Grand Prix of the program competition "Management skill: development of regional teams" … for the project directed to creation of an investment chain in sector "pharmaceutics, medical equipment and IT in health care. In the center of the project – is translational medicine: a chain from the idea to ready-made product – the device or medicine", – is said in the message.
It is noted, that the project implementation will allow to reduce terms of creation of new drugs and medical devices, to increase the effectiveness of investments. Besides, it will help to solve problems in the sphere of translational medicine where there is no orientation on the final product yet, indicators of stages aren't coordinated and financing isn't balanced.It is added that in the region the coordination council on development of translational medicine will be created. Representatives of the Industry and Trade Ministry, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Science, FASO and the companies will enter it. Also there will be information service which will help investors to find scientific partners. The project also means work with other regions to conduct researches for creation of a new line of production in medicine.
It is specified that the educational program "Management skill: development of regional teams" is addressed to regional managers in subjects of Russia. A main goal is to increase the investment attractiveness of regions. The design command from administration of the Tomsk region were included heads of departments of administrations of the region and Tomsk, and also members of design office "INO Tomsk".
