TOMSK, Dec 17 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) has signed an agreement with Roscosmos to create an installation for printed circuit boards using digital model; within the framework of the same agreement it is planned to expand the target training, TUSUR Rector Victor Rulevsky told RIA Tomsk.

A day before, on December 16, TUSUR signed an agreement with Scientific and Production Center POLYUS (part of Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems of State Corporation Roscosmos) to create an experimental unit for the additive manufacturing of circuit boards on a digital model, and also to train specialists in the areas demanded in the company.

"I hope that we will increase the number of target students for Roscosmos companies by 20-30%. What is important now is not only mass, but also quality – more in-depth immersion in machinery and technology. We can see how much the industrial partners are invested in this targeted training: they are ready to pay additional scholarships, to accompany students, to provide certain conditions of work at the enterprise, to conduct internships, practices", – Rulevsky said.

He added that, first of all, TUSUR will be engaged in updating existing programs for the space industry, whose graduates will be in demand in the market, and increasing the motivation of applicants to TUSUR. The university now has more than 120 students enrolled in targeted training programs for Roscosmos.

"We already have a set of educational programs, but we understand that they need constant adaptation to meet modern requirements, taking into account current trends in the development of the industry. Of course, we will build on the foundation that we have at the university, we will go not revolutionary, but evolutionary way of continuous modernization of the educational content, fitting up the departments with modern equipment", – the interlocutor said.

He added that within the framework of the agreement, an experimental facility will be set up to manufacture microcircuits for spacecraft using additive technologies. "This is the so-called dry printed electronics – technology without etching, without chemical processes", – Rulevsky noted.
