TOMSK, July 14 – RIA Tomsk. Work at the project on construction
of the pulp and paper mill (PPM) and sawing plant in the settlement Belyj Yar
of Tomsk region, allegedly, will come to the end by October-December, 2015, the
press service of regional administration with reference to the deputy governor
on agro-industrial policy Andrey Knorr reported.
It was
reported earlier that the Tomsk authorities and the Chinese investors will sign
the agreement on construction of pulp and paper mill to autumn, 2015, the
preliminary contract was signed in May. It is planned to construct the mill by
2020 near Belyj Yar. Thus the enterprise will be ecologically friendly and will
allow to use breeds of trees unclaimed earlier.
"Is
planned to finish work at the project in the fourth quarter of 2015th, and to
get the construction license in the first quarter of the 2016th", – the
press service quotes Knorr.

It is added
that the positive ecological decision of "Irkutskgiprobum» for pulp and
paper mill is already received.
The project
value is 50 billion rubles. Productivity of pulp and paper mill will be about
500 thousand tons of not bleached cellulose a year, the power of sawing plant
will be 500 thousand cubic meters a year. Construction of pulp and paper mill
will allow to create 3,5 thousand new workplaces. Construction of the working
settlement for five thousand people is also planned.
This mill
will become part of the project on creation of a timber industry cluster in
Tomsk region. The project is realized by Chinese investor. The total amount of
investments (without pulp and paper mill) till 2022 will exceed 30 billion
rubles, 13 billion are enclosed now.
