TOMSK, Nov 9 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) will start the master program "Systems of Wireless Access"; training in this direction will begin in TUSUR in new academic year, deputy head of the center of competences of Skoltech Andrey Somov reported.
Earlier it was reported that TUSUR and Skoltech opened the Russia's first regional center of competences of the National Technological Initiative (NTI) "wireless technologies and the Internet of Things" in June, 2018 where students will be trained, professional development of experts and engineers of enterprises of small and medium business and product development will take place.
"We start with a joint educational program "Systems of wireless access" with TUSUR which will be opened next academic year. This program is designed for undergraduates, training will be provided in English. Students will study how to transfer information between electronic devices", – Somov reported.

He specified that students will study to build wireless communication through the Internet of things within the program. "It can be a special sensor installed in the traffic light and a sensor in a car. It is necessary to make so that information passed and was processed via sensors, and things could "communicate", – Somov gave an example.
The interlocutor of the agency added that students need to pass two examinations to enter "Systems of Wireless Access" program – mathematics and English and to have an interview. The maximum number of students who are planned to be taken in 2019, – six people.
