Tomsk State University (TSU), Gazprombank and Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) have signed a tripartite cooperation agreement, which provides professional training of specialists in the field of intellectual property, is reported on the website of the university on Wednesday.
It is specified that the training of world-class level
specialists will be engaged scientific and educational center
"Intellectual property and intellectual property rights", created in
TSU in the autumn of 2018. Here are trained future lawyers specializing in the
legal protection of inventions, means of individualization and know-how, norms
of copyright compliance.
"New competitive programs are important for
Russia for the successful implementation of the National Technology Initiative.
Working with companies such as Gazprombank and Rospatent will allow the
university to attract new partners for the development in the field of
intellectual property protection", – the acting rector of TSU Eduard
Galazhinsky is quoted in the message.
In turn, the head of Rospatent, Grigory Ivliev,
believes that the training of qualified specialists is one of the key issues in
the development of the intellectual property sphere in Russia.
"Tomsk – is one of the intellectual, scientific,
research centers of Russia, so it is very important that the center is open
here. And that all the innovative developments of local scientists,
researchers, and inventors will receive legal support and protection, which
will become the foundation of their commercialization", – Ivliev is
quoted.
As it is reported on the website, the interaction of
the parties involves both joint training of lawyers in the field of protection
of intellectual rights, and conducting research on problems in this area.
