TOMSK, May 8 – RIA Tomsk. Opening of the first in Russia university "Boiling
Points" will occur simultaneously in different regions on May 21, 2019;
TUSUR will present the annual work program of the space, which will appear on
the basis of the student business incubator, the TUSUR Vice-Rector for Research
and Innovation Viktor Rulevskiy told RIA Tomsk.
Earlier it was reported that Tomsk Polytechnic
University and Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics
(TUSUR) were among the 13 universities of the Russian Federation, where the
first university "Boiling Points" will be opened – spaces for the
collective work of representatives of education, science, business and
government, whose activities are aimed at changing the approaches of
universities to educational activities, introduction of new educational formats
and communication models.
According to Rulevskiy, to open up the space, it was
necessary to coordinate its design, technical equipment and work program with
the project management in Moscow and representatives of the regional
"Boiling Point" in Tomsk. It is expected that the events of TUSUR at
the "Boiling Point" will take place almost every other day.
"We will have an opening on May 21. We will have
to present the project of "Boiling point"– its filling for a year:
which workshops we will be hold, hakatons, which tutors and mentors to invite
... There will be openings of (university) “Boiling Points” (in the regions)
which entered the first wave, within two hours we will observe the opening of
each", – the vice-rector said.
He added that the "Boiling Point" of TUSUR
will be located in two rooms of the student business incubator in the Yuzhnaya
Square in Tomsk. The cost of their arrangement – at least 3 million rubles – was
fully assumed by the university.
