TOMSK, Sep 16 – RIA Tomsk. Tomsk holding "KDV Group" LLC took the 77th place in the list of the 200 largest private companies of Russia – 2019 according to Forbes Magazine, having improved its position by three points during the year, the publication reports on Monday.

The financial and economic magazine Forbes has published an annual ranking of the 200 largest private companies of Russia. The Tomsk "KDV Group" LLC company with a revenue of 132 billion rubles at the end of 2018 took the 77th position. A year earlier, it occupied the 80th line of this rating.

"The holding, specializing in the production of snacks and confectionery, is widely known for its brands "Yashkino", "Kirieshki", "Babkiny semechki". Denis Shtengelov, the co-founder of "KDV Group", bought his first confectionery factory in 1997, today the group unites 15 factories that produce about 700 types of products", – is reported on the Forbes website.

It is added that the company also owns a network of 550 supermarkets "Yarche!". The total number of employees in the holding – is 25 thousand people. In August 2019, it became known about the plans of "KDV Group" to launch a new business – express delivery service similar to DHL.

The "KDV Group" LLC company was founded in Tomsk in 1994 on the basis of the confectionery house "Vostok". In the late 1990s, representative offices were opened in seven Siberian cities and Vladivostok, and later – in Samara, St. Petersburg and Moscow.
