TOMSK, Sep 19 – RIA Tomsk. Engineering Center of
Chemical Technology of Tomsk State University (TSU ECCT) to open office in
Europe, the head of the ECCT Alexey Knyazev said RIA Tomsk; he specified that at
the international exhibition "CHEMISTRY-2019" they received a
proposal from representatives of the Embassy of Switzerland, parties had
already held a preliminary meeting.
"At the international exhibition "CHEMISTRY-2019",
which is currently taking place in Moscow, we met with representatives of the
Embassy of Switzerland who invited us to consider the possibility of organizing
business in their country. This corresponds to the plans of the company: the
Engineering Center of Chemical Technology of Tomsk State University has
branches in Moscow Skolkovo and Novosibirsk Academpark, our strategy involved
offices opening in St. Petersburg and Europe", – Knyazev said.
He specified that they had discussed with the embassy
representatives the conditions that would need to be met to register a legal
entity in Switzerland.

In particular, to start and pay all duties it will be
necessary to have about 50 thousand francs (about 3 million rubles), a Swiss
citizen should be the director of the company. It is also necessary to choose a
territory with a suitable tax jurisdiction (there are several of them in the
country), with taking into account the location of companies that in the future
may become direct partners of the TSU ECCT.
According to Knyazev, they need an office in Europe to
interact with European companies: "We plan to work with a large number of
European partners – large chemical companies. It is advisable to be closer to
them, to be in their jurisdiction, because they do not always understand how to
work with Russian companies, although interest in interacting with Russian
business is rather high there".
