Russian students, which is tentatively scheduled for July 4, representatives of
universities confirmed to RIA Tomsk.
On Friday,
May 22, the federal media with reference to the head of the Ministry of Science
and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov reported that the
All-Russian graduation will be held online in order to prevent the spread of
coronavirus and can take place on July 4.
"Tomsk State University (TSU) will participate (in the All-Russian online graduation).
In addition, we will conduct our individual graduation", – the TSU
vice-rector for social services Sergey Kulizhskiy told RIA Tomsk.
The press
service of Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics
(TUSUR) also confirmed that the university will connect to the All-Russian
online graduation and hold it on July 4 with everyone. Holiday details are
currently under development.
"There
are almost 2,3 thousand graduates this year at Tomsk Polytechnic University
(TPU). We hope that the vast majority of the university has a feeling of
engineering fraternity. Therefore, in my opinion, it is impossible not to mark
the completion of their studies. We made a fundamental decision that graduation
for polytechnics will be held at least online", – the first vice-rector of
TPU Andrey Yakovlev commented.
According
to the press services of Tomsk State Pedagogical University (TSPU) and Tomsk
State University of Architecture and Building (TSUAB), their universities will
also support the All-Russian online graduation.
