Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR) will create a Center for Microelectronic Systems on the model of the nanotechnology center of Polytechnic University of Milan, the rector of the university Viсtor Rulevskiy said on his Facebook page on Monday.
Earlier it was reported that TUSUR plans to build a Center for Microelectronic Systems in the backyard of the main building in the next five years. It will combine regional design center for the design of microelectronic equipment, testing laboratory and educational center. The project is estimated at 700 million rubles.
"Our example is PoliFAB, the nanotechnology center of Polytechnic University of Milan with which we signed a cooperation agreement with the support of the partner – Micran research and production company. Roscosmos, Rostec, VKO "Almaz-Antey" also confirmed their interest", – the rector said.
He added that TUSUR has secured the support of the Federation Council and is currently working on the inclusion of the project in the federal targeted investment program, while working on the design of the future center.
