Experts from 4 countries discuss protection of design at TSU platform

TOMSK, Nov 10 – RIA Tomsk.Tomsk State University (TSU) holds a conference on intellectual rights on its online platform, where, among other things, the legal protection of clothing design and design in video games will be discussed; the conference is attended by experts from Russia, China, Belgium and Germany, the press service of the university told RIA Tomsk on Tuesday.

It is specified that the II International Scientific and Practical Conference is held from 10 to 14 November. Experts discuss topical issues of Russian copyright law, cumulative design protection, industrial property law, antitrust regulation and intellectual property issues, digital rights and the law of new technologies.

"Speakers from Russia, Germany, Belgium and China are participating. Among them there are patent attorneys, lawyers, university professors. The conference is held online in two languages ​​- Russian and English. The main direction is intellectual property", – the press service said.

Specialists will cover topics such as legal protection of clothing design and design in video games, protection of confidentiality of commercial information, legal aspects of esports, the use of artificial intelligence in medicine and healthcare, and so on.

"Unusual examples from practice will be considered, and the legal aspects of resolving disputes related to intellectual property, including in other countries, will be discussed", – the press service added.
